Yes, I know I need alot of practice, but I flat ironed the girls hair and braided it this afternoon. Teagan's hair comes down to the middle of her back... I can't believe how long it is! Kaylan didn't like the Chi but I bribed her with a sucker.

Friday night musings

So here we are at home on a cold Friday night... my favorite place to be these days! I used to love colder weather back in the day when we would sit outside with a beer and a smoke, bundled up and cozy. 5 years & 2 kids later, an uneventful weekend night at home beats getting out freezing your ass off any day. Some friends and I are finally making our girls trip happen tomorrow at the winery. We've only been planning it for about 4 months now... seems harder to get everyone's schedules lined up these days.

I am trying to find time to sit down and study for my first psych test on Tuesday. However, I have been immersed in my photography textbook from my photo I class with Rufus for the last couple of days. Making photos is something I am truly fascinated with and want to know all about. Hopefully after graduation I can return to complete the other classes I want to take for fun. I guess I will be a career KC student!

One week and counting

Well, I am going to enjoy this last week of my Christmas break before we start classes back next Monday. I have had a nice long mini-vacay to hang with my girls and just take it easy. I have been trying to find a school for the girls to start attending, but I am stunned at how much childcare is going to cost! Hopefully we will find the perfect place for them soon.

I have found a fantastic local photographer and she will be taking pictures of the girls on Sunday. Check out her work here. I will post them as soon as I get them back from her. I can't wait to see how she captures them!
